email_us training_header2

From 1st September 2014 there are some changes being applied to Peadiatric first aid qualifications, specifically from a single Level Two, two day qualification to two new qualifications. Both are now at Level Three as they contain more in-depth content and there is a choice of a 1 day or a two day course depending upon your own needs and requirements. The ‘Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage’ is a document published by The Department for Children, Schools and Families and applies to Early Years childcare within England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The Statutory Framework states that ‘at least one person who has a current Paediatric first aid certificate must be on the premises at all times when children are present. There must be at least one person on outings who has a current Paediatric first aid certificate.’ These HABC Level 3 Paediatric First Aid qualifications is recognised as a qualification that fulfils this need.

All successful delegates from either qualification will be issued with a qualification certificate which is valid for a period of 3 years.
Delegates are required to be 16 years of age prior to certification.
