Food Safety Levels 1 and 2

It is essential to food safety and hygiene that all food handlers are aware of the hazards and controls associated with whatever type of food they produce. Every year, millions of people are made ill and vulnerable people can die as a result of eating contaminated food. Regardless of the type of food being produced there are controls and measures that must be put in place to ensure all types of contamination are eliminated completely and production and service of food be controlled to ensure safety.

Any food business operator in any type of food business has a legal obligation to ensure that their staff are supervised, instructed and trained in food hygiene matters to a level necessary for the type of activity they are carrying out.

The level of qualification chosen will depend on the type of food production taking place and the level of responsibility of the food handler. Whatever those needs are we will provide the necessary training qualifications.
